Blue Water Ocean Yacht Sail Training - Blue Surround was set up in 1995 with a specific mission to teach sail training in Hong Kong and Asia. Since that time, we have become a leading provider of sail training in the region and have successfully trained numerous students from a wide range of backgrounds and countries, all of whom are now enjoying the pleasures of the sailing world internationally. At Blue Surround, we don't teach dinghy sailing. We teach Blue Water Ocean Yacht Sailing on vessels ranging from 38 feet. Upon completion of training, you will have the confidence and skill to charter a yacht anywhere in the world. We offer the following practical sail training courses: Competent Crew I and II Day Skipper Coastal Skipper Yacht Master Ocean Master Brief details of each of the courses is shown in the table at right. All training courses are accredited by the Hong Kong Marine Dept/HK Yachting Federation or Australian Yachting Federation. We will design a package to meet your budget and to suit your busy lifestyle. We offer substantial discounts to our members on all of our sail training packages. Power Vessel Training - As Skipper on your personal yacht, we will train you to all levels, specifically in Hong Kong to Master and Engineers requirements. Competent Crew I & II
	Awareness of your role as a crew member. Basic introduction to sailing. Focuses on personal safety.
	Day Skipper
	Learning to become the skipper of a vessel in inshore waters. Focuses on crew and vessel safety.
	Coastal Skipper
	Taking command of a vessel over 100 mile sea voyage.
	Yacht Master
	Taking command of a vessel on 500 mile passages. Semi- professional ticket. The aim is to bring working knowledge of all requirements of seamanship.
	Ocean Master
	Taking command of a vessel on 500-3000 mile voyages.
	Design a Package
	Blue Surround can also help you to design a sail training package to suit your level of experience and budget.
